“The 11^th hour” forms a series of interviews, which is including scientists, topic proposing or leader about environmental protection. And as long as, we can watch the film peaceful, there are may some sentences can attached your heart, even inspire our to see the world at different angle.

The film has a lot of section lead a person to endless aftertastes, and make me really feel at mean time. At the film, David Suzuki motioned in the long history of the 40billions years of earth, the species were exist have 99.999 were been died out. What the shames of our human being were caused died out of 54,000 species, this is what truly against nature.

I knew our environment were being worsen for a long time, there are many species are disappearing every single day. But when I heard David Suzuki motioned this thing again, that make me feel really scary. Human cause the selves destroy by our self, but it’s so worry if the other species are died out because of human’s development.

This film gives us some hope of exchanges. Remember Thom Hartmann said, if some people suggest we should go back to the primitive society in order to keep human exist forever. But in fact, we have technical to gain or change everything. So the actual problem is, how do we balance our knowledge of technical and culture, and how do we make culture generally changed at high speed of technical developing, to create a culture exist science and environment protection.

I never thought live back at primitive society, but I believe we really need to make some change to our environment. So go to see this film, and the experts would give us some inspiration. Because there are so many thing, we can do it easy and immediately.

project 3

Rational

The project is aim to create an innovative public furniture element. And which is in order to helps give a public space its “sense of place” and encourages the community to proudly use their local areas with their neighbors.

Then I found the bench around Sydney Opera House is not that connect with its surroundings and kind of boring which is anywhere around the Sydney as we can see. So I decide to design a bench for Sydney Opera House.

The bench is designed for the tourists and people who just want to take a walk.

Aluminum alloy is used for bench material that is light, hardness and anti-oxidant which can used long used term. It is really suitable material for make bench.

The bench is designed with the curve seems like Opera house to make the bench connect with surroundings, people would get attract by this bench and have a impression. Bench is design with a comfortable back is 25-degree slope that make more sense with ergonomics. And it also made hollow-carved which would not stop sight line would feel more comfortable than not. And its design for both sit and lean that is more free choice and function for people who would came here.

The Lightbulb Conspiracy

The Lightbulb Conspiracy through the Lightbulb which is really necessary of our life, to tell the bad situation of the society of nowadays. It exposed people sacrifices the quality of the product to promote and develop of the economic, shows the situation of “ buy a new one rather than repair”.

The film shows us a 100 years lifetime lightbulb is still using at now, but most sarcasm part is the manufacturers are keep trying and doing test of the reduce the lifetime of the lightbulb. As we see, the manufacturers reduce the life time of lightbulb from 2500 hours to 2000 hours, 1500 hours, and finally they decided at 1000 hours. And then according 365 per year, and if a family using light 3 hours every day, a lightbulb will not survive over a year.

Manufacturers were proud of long using term, but since 1920, the manufacturers sacrifice the quality of the product to promote and develop of the economic and get more business profits. It is a stimulus of the Global economic, but the unlimited wastage would run out the limited source of the earth.

The Lightbulb Conspiracy is consist of many precious documents to investigate and analysis, and recording the tragedy of the world. Think about the similar situation and the content of the film exploded, and if we going to more investigate the influence of the truth bring us, it would be really terrible.

An Inconvenience Truth

Al Gore is the United States vice President. And his attention on the environment protection is obviously shows what’s the leader ethics should have. At least, leader should encourage public getting to know what’s the truth.

It is a really attractive documentary film, you would be easily attract by Al Gore’s speech, and immerse the huge amount of the science data, truth pictures and the human does, and we would feel with heart afire，like what the film want us to be.

This film let people to know the truth of the politics covered of, let people know how serious of the Global warm is and it happen around us.

Maybe that’s why Gore made thousands of speech around the world.

And if people is not stop what are we doing now, the ice of Antarctic and Arctic Pole would be melting and the more serious is many big cities nearly the ocean would be submerged on the future not far.

And the most terrible thing is the species about Global range would be perished because of human destroyed and careless.

Maybe our descendant wouldn’t see the blue sky, beautiful river and the clean ice and the most beautiful multiple species over the world. Is that what we really want?

Think about Tsunami，Typhoon and the disease cause by virus happened around least several years. Is not what the nature revenges us?

When people can be sober? Gore said if most of people can notice the truth of what happened now and try to make up, we still have hope to redeem and make environment better.

If we can do the thing start at ourselves, like the suggestion from the end of the film: try to take more public transportation, using recycling material and clean energy, divides garbage. Let more people to watch the film. May that can be a little useful thing for environment.
