Rationale
Bamboos are some of the quickest growing plants in the world，also is a common plant, although it is not very rough, but good toughness, folding also continued.
As the characteristics of continued and cavity，the idea of making spices bottles came out. Use those nature characteristics to develop domestic storage system make us live better.
There are multiple options of material for Bamboo Spices Bottles, Ceramics and Acrylic. Those materials are good at storage spices.
Ceramic materials are brittle, hard, strong in compression, weak in shearing and tension. They withstand chemical erosion that occurs in other materials subjected to acidic or caustic environments. Also Ceramics generally can withstand very high temperatures.
Acrylic is many times stronger than glass, making it much more impact resistant and safer. Acrylic glass is also very clear that it is only half as heavy as glass. This makes this material easier to work with, and makes it a better choice for projects where weight is an issue.
The main biomimetic concept of Bamboo Spices Bottles is continued which make bottles stick up together to save more space of the kitchen storage for keep neat and clean.

The modle you made is quite good. And it is impressed you have made three different types of baboon bottles to show multiple choice. The plastic one might be better because it is easy to know which bottle contain what kind of spices and how much left. Moreover, it is better to have holes or other ways that can help to pull out spices easily.
回复删除Hey ping, your design looks awesome with the bamboo-shape. You did very good by shaping it, and a good inspiration by bamboo. You must considered about it is hellow inside and bamboo is suitalbe for storaging food.

It is a really nice work,the shape of the spice bottle is organic and smoth, I think it's very protable for people to hold.And thebamboo concept is really work, it save a lot of space.

bamboo is actually a good alternative store food. Some south east asians actually used bamboos to store and cook food for marinating the meat. Like the way how you are following the form of the bamboo. Very simple design but good. You can try to introduce a pouring spout or some sort of a way to take out the spices more conveniently. Will the spices be remained dry for a long time in this bottles?

删除This product looks very organic. I like how you encaptures the traditional bamboo look. Aesthetically it looks nice and native which will suit every kitchen from classic to contemporary. Having said that the traditional bamboo shape is nice, maybe you can make it alittle bit abstract in terms of looks may be play alittle bit more with its form.
