Salad tong
This tong is dedicated to clip the salad. This one is painted by white, but there are multiple colours to choice. Salad tongs are a basic kitchen utensil specifically designed for use in mixing, tossing and serving various types of salads. Salad tongs have been around for centuries with versions being found in many ancient archaeological sites and some luxury items found in the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs. Salad tongs have become more modern by design, but they still function on the same basic premise.
Salad tong is simply an alternative to using your hands, and the long handle of this salad tong and grip of the pincher makes salad tong a sanitary alternative.
The beautiful and smooth line of salad tong, make it open like a flower, gives us a kind of comfortable feeling in visually. When you are holding it, you feel like you are holding something really freely. And the shape of salad tong make it can keep the top of the tong away from desk, a support like this maintain clean of the tong and gap between desk and tong is easily to pick up.
The material of this tong is Polypropylene. Polypropylene (PP) is widely used in kitchen. PP is non-toxic, tasteless, and density is small. PP has good performance of use and high frequency insulation not effect by humidity. PP is Suitable for making general machinery parts, corrosion resistant parts and insulation parts. Common acid, alkali organic solvents almost doesn't work on it, so it is very suitable used in the tong.
This basic kitchen utensil comes in a variety of function, and it can be very useful to have at home.

Hi Ping!! I love the bone like appearance of your salad tongs. They also look a lot like flowers, which is great imagery when designing something for serving salad. I really like the shape of the handle with its lovely curves, maybe one point for improvement would be making the teeth of the tool smaller. But other than that I really like your work.
回复删除Hi, I like the form of your salad tongs and the way that they sit sculpturally when placed on the dining table or other surface. It looks appealing, but from your poster and the way in which it sits in your hand, the handles appear too large. For something as delicate as a salad, maybe a little more refinement would have been better, though still maintaining the overall sculptural form.
回复删除The salad tongs are shaped like shells or just a really appealing shape to me. It would be a awesome salad tong just too comfort to look at, maybe the use of colour will be more attractive while for use.

回复删除The shape of your salad tony is creative for me, seems its original. Color choice and the arrange of the poster also quite good as well. However, I think that the size of the salad tony might be a little too big, because it look a bit hard to control in hand on the photos of story board, as the big front part of salad tony, I think it should not be too big, or it will be hard to use for small hand.

回复删除I really like your design Ping. I love the curves of the object and it looks really comfortable to use. I liked how you made 2 of them aswell to show Kelly, it must have been alot of work! I didnt agree with what she said about them being too big, I thought they were a good size, so well done!
